Feather River Baptist Association is a fellowship of 20 Southern Baptist churches and missions.
Our churches exist to share the Good News about Jesus Christ with the people who live and visit our area. We rejoice in God's great love for each of us and for all people. We realize that each of us has failed to honor and trust God and that this failure and our sins have separated us from God. We believe that God has not abandoned us. Jesus is the perfect demonstration of God's love and His desire to be in union with His creation. Jesus' death on the cross paid for our sins and makes it possible for us to be reunited with the Father of love. We believe the witness that Jesus broke out of the bonds of death and came back to life; and we believe that because He lives, we too shall live. We are anticipating His return to earth to gather those who are trusting in Him.
The people in our churches are seeking to grow in their faith in Christ. They are learning to love God, to love one another and to love their neighbor. They enjoy heart-felt worship, serious study of the Bible [God's Word] and service in the name of Jesus. Our churches reflect a variety of worship styles and ministry activities.
